Well, I did have some revamped Rouge Bunny Rouge swatches in the line up... but an unexpected parcel of love arrived this morning from The Driveller Kate ♥ And my what a parcel!! It just seemed to be never ending, so let's get stuck in :)

Finally I can try the new Addiction Dewy Glow Foundation, fingers crossed for shade #3.

Swatches are the same order as above, taken in direct sunlight and then indoor light. But as you can see from the swatches, the Shu Uemura liner is definitely the most opaque. I have been using the DollyWink liner a lot lately however as it involves less clicking to get the product, but I am going to switch them up and give the B&C Lab liner a turn to shine now.

Next up, the Canmake Cream Cheek Blushes in #1 and #11.

Left: #1 Peach Dream.

Right: #11 Heavenly Heart.

And swatched in the same order as above, in direct sunlight then indoor gloom. Oddly, both shades look identical to the untrained eye. But the difference is in the shimmer on me, #1 is more of an obvious chunky silver shimmer compared to #11's fine gold pearl shimmer.

And finally, a quick comparison of the Chikuhodo Z-10 and MAC 219 (please excuse my filty 219, it will be cleaned this afternoon). I have used the Suqqu S Eyeshadow brush, thank you Kate! So I knew what to expect in terms of shape, density and softness. But oh my, I had forgotten just how soft those squirrel hairs are!

Friday Favourites #1.

Good Morning and Happy Black Friday!

So I've decided to start a Friday favourites instead of monthly favourites this time round. Reason being, by the time the month rolls out I've either forgotten to post or I've forgotten all products ever to touch my face... Yeah, like a sieve indeed. So here we have the first instalment :)

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in #53 Light Biege ~
I usually prefer a more full coverage foundation due to the redness on my lower cheeks, but for some reason since I purchased this early this year I have not stopped using it! It is a lightweight gel like formula that feels like skin for me.

Shu Uemura Glow On in P Peach 42 ~
I have been so lazy with blush lately only wearing bronzer and an illuminator, but this is such an easy blush to wear as it goes with most of my colour choices (purples or greens atm). Being a P (pearlescent) shade, it has a beautiful sheen that means I can skip using a highlighter too.

Chanel Illusion d'Ombre in #82 Emerveille ~
Did I mention I'm having a peachy week? lol, Emerveille is fantastic for me when I'm in a hurry. A quick wash on the lid is a beautiful peachy M Lids BB, and if I need more I can just amp it up with a colour in the crease.

DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black ~
Even though the Shu Uemura refillable pen liner is an absolute Holy Grail for me, I am lazy. I need to change the cartridge, but instead I grabbed this and have been using it a fair bit lately. Great long thin brush tip, and very opaque liquid. Can be built for a a very intense black line, absolutely fantastic for a sharp wing.

Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara in Onyx ~
I tried this sample in October when I received it, and strangely my eyes felt like they had been butchered?! I think I was having some issues however as most of my makeup was not agreeing with me? I decided to give Film Noir a second chance before binning and BOY am I glad I did! Gave me thick full lashes with no clumping. I will certainly keep trialling this and who knows, maybe an actual purchase may take place...

Last up today is this Anthem of the week.
You guys may not know, but if there is one thing I love more than makeup it is music. I am always open to all genres of music, but lately I cannot get enough of dubstep (thanks to a certain gorgeous Swede). This track is the Tomba remix of Fytch & Captain Crunch ~ Raindrops. The vocals on this one has that sing along factor for me :)

Ebay adventures.

Good Morning!

Well, I decided to create my own ebay account instead of using the partner's. I need to build this feedback for myself right? At first I considered selling, but why pay hideous ebay fees when you can blog sale items now. So I bought a few items, lol! :)

I got a tip off that someone was selling off some Le Metier de Beaute pencils (thank you tipper!). The seller only had 2, so I grabbed one of each of course!

Then after a little swatch viewing and gentle shoving, I decided to buy one of those much loved Rimmel mousse eyeshadows. Only to realise, why on earth have Rimmel discontinued them?!

Hello stranger...

Well hello peoples!

Firstly, I hope you all welcome me back with open arms after I irrationally deleted this blog and all of it's contents. But I felt a little remorse and decided to save it from the dark depths of forever deletion :)
This post is brought to you by the wonderfulness that is Laura Jean from My Newest Addiction, of whom I love muchly! She sent me a few love goodies, which I have been rather excited to try. So here goes...

First up, Wet n Wild I ♥ Matte 8 pan palette and Baked Limited Edition Coloricon Eye Kit in Baking A Cake (well hello pinks, purples and cake...) 6 pan palette and Coloricon shimmer eyeliner in Black.

And as for swatches, apologies! Today is a bit gloomy and pics aren't as clear as I like for the matte palette.

And the destruction after wet swatching, lol! The middle shade on the bottom row is surprisingly the most gorgeous colour both wet and dry. I will be trying that shade first without a doubt, FOTD pics to come :)
The texture of the matte palette is nice and smooth in my opinion, but the right neutral side seems to swatch creamier and better than the left brighter side. As with the baked palette, you can see the difference between the wet and dry swatches. But the bright pink and purple both seem to be a teeny bit of a let down, even when wet they both needed a second layer of colour on the swatch. But we will see what happens when attempted on my lids of course!

Next up, the very cute Urban Decay Apocalyptic Nail Set.

And finally, a very gorgeous Essence Holographics nail polish in Gagalectric and a Dalton Colour Creme Lip Gloss in Lisa Lou. I have never heard of Dalton, but seemingly it's a QVC brand which is quite nice :)

It has a really gorgeous purpley pink sparkle which is not obnoxious on the lips! 

I look forward to trying this one over black nail polish!
