Hope you are all rested and ready to get on with life... I have one week left of doing nothing and then I start training for my new job!! I honestly cannot wait. Anyway, as it's now April 1st I thought I'd start by updating my favourite beauty products of March. I've kept it quite simple this month as I haven't had to wear much makeup at all.
|March Favourites 2013.|
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation.
Since using up a lot of my lightweight formula foundations, I was left with this one! I had genuinely forgotten how much I love it. It's perfect for my drying combination skin at this time of the year, not to mention the perfect natural finish that can be my usual brimade matte very easily. Sadly, this is now pretty much empty!!
NARS Orgasm blush.
This blush is one of those blushes you either love or hate, there's no middle ground with this guy. Now for me, I forget I own it as I have Deep Throat and Gilda to slather on my cheeks! But I decided to pull Orgasm out and add it to my daily bag, this blush just works perfectly for me. Gives my complexion the perfect amount of pinky coral glow without needed an extra highlighter.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Bejewelled Skylark & Veiled Lyrebird eyeshadows.
With so many eyeshadows from Rouge Bunny Rouge to dabble with, Bejewelled Skylark often gets overlooked. But lately I have been loving this paired with Veiled Lyrebird (blending out socket) or even layered over purples! The texture of these is everything I want in an eyeshadow, buttery, rich, pigmented and last all day, Perfect :)
MAC Shroom, Era, All That Glitters & Sable eyeshadows.
I rarely use MAC eyeshadows these days, for me there are far superior products and options at both drugstore and luxury pricing. But the colour range is something I always love! I pulled these 4 shades out again, either paired together or with usual bright accents they have become quite a staple quad for me.
Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara.
I have actually purged all of my open mascaras recently, they genuinely went into the bin!! I was left with 3, my dying Rimmel ScandalEyes, Chanel something or other mini and this one. Now False Lash Effect was a massive holy grail product for me for years until I decided to test other, so I decided to go back to it. I love the massive chunky rubber brush and the fact that this really does give my lashes much needed volume!
SUQQU Creamy Glow Moist in EX-01 Sangoiro.
This affair started when I decided to take Sangoiro to Poland instead of my usual favourite Chantecaille Lip Chics. I love the balmy rich texture of the SUQQU a lot more than the Chantecailles, which surprises me as these are an absolute staple for me! Sangoiro gives just the right amount of peachy colour to my lips, making it a very easy to wear daily lipstick. Think I need to get some of the other now...
Kiko #359 Light Peach & #389 Mint Milk nail lacquers.
I have been really terrible with my nails lately, in fact my cuticles are a mess! It's shameful... So I decided to get them back into shape, starting with a couple of untried nail polishes I had from Kiko. With Spring "potentially" in the air, I though the pastel shades would be perfect. These are really quite nice, great colour payoff after 3 coats and vibrant pastel shades. I'm tempted to buy a few more now, anyone have any favourites?
Well, that's all from me today. What have been your monthly favourites?
Enjoy your week and thanks for reading ♥
