Blog sale.

Good evening everyone!

Well, I don't know about anyone else in the UK and EU... But I am utterly sick of this cold weather and SNOW!? Come on, it's nearly the end of March already :(

Anyway, on to the reason I am updating... I have been updating my very belated blog sale. I will be adding new items over the next couple of days in large chunks, at the moment it is just base makeup and skincare. There will be a RAOK section too! Please feel free to browse and contact me with any enquiries at mirasundari [at] gmail [dot] com

You can find the updated blog sale page here or click on the Sale page underneath the banner!

Thanks for looking, have a great evening ♥

Random Friday FOTD with a little Rouge Bunny Rouge love.

Good evening people!

So, I have good news for once. I got a job offer yesterday for the interview I went for (4hr interview might I add!?) and will be going back into the world of banking... Yes, I know it's the most ridiculous thing to do but I thrive more in the customer service roles than pure sales :)

Anyway, was a little inspired by a post from Madam Noire's blog (see post here) using stark white eye liner for the wing. Now I'm all for white liner and huge wings, of course I had to recreate this look with my own twist! Plus, it was a nice change for the boring interveiw FOTDs I had been living in. So here we have it, Rouge Bunny Rouge with a twist and of course my hair is a mess as I hate brushing it smooth.

With flash on.

With flash on, shows the sheen from the highlighter.

No flash, which always makes my lip colour look brown toned?!

Close up of eye makeup, this shows the cracking finish of the liner.

Products used.
Face:
MAC Studio Sculpt foundation in NC30
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in Transparent
Giorgio Armani Sheer Bronzer in #1
Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin blush in Orpheline
Rouge Bunny Rouge liquid highlighter in Sea of Tranquillity

Eyes:
MUA Professional eye primer
Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting eyeshadows in
~ Bejewelled Skylark (lid & lower lash line)
~ Veiled Lyrebird (blend in socket)
~ Papyrus Canary (brow bone)
MAC pigment in Vanilla (inner corner highlight)
Sleek Eau La La liner in Noir
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Creep (soften liner)
Collection Extreme felt tip liner in black
Illamasqua Precision Ink in Scribe
WnW Brow Kit in Ash Brown (darkest shade)
Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara

Lips:
Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst lipstick in Word of Mouth

Now, my only issue is that the Illamasqua doesn't layer very well to get the desired opacity. If anyone knows of a gel liner option in white please let me know (comment below or email me please!). But overall, I really love the entire look with white liner. You can find all the Rouge Bunny Rouge products on their new online webstore (here). Which I need to pay a visit once my first paycheck rolls in, as I want the new oxblood mascara! I'd love to know your favourite Rouge Bunny Rouge eyeshadow combinations and products also.

I have also heard that Google Friend Connect is no more, I am already signed up to Bloglovin so if you would like to follow me click the button on the right menu. You can alternatively follow me with Google+ of course.
Thanks for reading, have a great weekend ♥

Project 10 Pan 2013

Dzien Dobry!!

Or I should say Good day. So, I mentioned this briefly in my previous post but I have been focusing on a Project 10 Pan since the beginning of 2013. Now surprisingly, I have completed it without any issue!! My main focus of this project was to use up base makeup as I know I have far too many options lately and need to bring some self control back into my life. Anything else I finished was just bonus, but I did allow skincare as I had accumulated mass amounts for some reason. So here we go...

These are the items that are well and truly finished with or no longer useable.

Skincare finished completely.

Simple Refreshing facial gel wash
Simple Replenishing rich moisturiser
Simple Moisturising facial wash x2
Lancome Genifique Yeux
Shu Uemura Beauty A/O cleansing oil

Makeup finished completely or to the point of no more.

MAC Studio Sculpt foundation
Lunasol Modelling Water Liquid foundation
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder
Neutrogena SkinClearing mineral powder
Rimmel ScandalEyes mascara x2
CoverGirl LashBlast Length mascara

I may have finished a few more than 10 items, but I figured every little helps right? Now, I'm going to continue working on the rest of the items I have left to finish as I am now on a permanent low buy.

Pressed powders from Le Metier de Beaute Classic Flawless, MAC Studio Fix and Jemma Kidd Bio-Mineral Perfecting. Will be very sad to finish the Le Metier powder as this became quite a staple until they decided to discontinue the darn thing!! A makeup addicts worst nightmare...

Still working on some foundations, Lunasol Modelling Water Liquid (although this is the wrong shade) and Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. Will certainly repurchase these 2 as they are perfect all time of the year for me! Then a few more items, Armani Sheer Bronzer (second one in a year!), NARS Pressed powder, WnW Nutty eyeshadow, Essence gel liner and MAC Stars n Rockets eyeshadow.

I do hope to get going on these items over the next couple of months as some of them I've had for a while and just want to get rid of! Now, finally... I have something for all you blogsale bargain hunters! I have been purging since I got back from Poland last month as I realised I really need to reduce my stash. SO here's a sneak preview of the overwhelmed box :)

Thanks for reading, have a great week ♥

FOTD: Givenchy Le Rouge in 204 Rose Boudoir

Good day people.

Many apologies for the impromptu absence, I had a lot of work on my hands which has finally led to blows as I eventually quit my job :( Oh well, all is said and done! Hopefully I can get one of these jobs I am interviewing for in the next week and it will allow me to have some level of blogging schedule again as I genuinely miss posting.

Anyways, so I got a gentle shove to go to the Givenchy counter and check out their new Le Rouge lipsticks from the ever so wonderful Driveller. I must say, I am impressed! The colour range is right up my alley and not to mention the almost matte like finish, then through in the most fabulous sales assistant with the most fantastical hair ever and I'll be going back. Sorry, I cannot find swatches so I will add them shortly as the UK is experiencing sunlight again... But the texture is almost gel like with a slight matte finish. I opted for the pink colour range, #204 caught my eye as it's an almost amped up MLBB tone (think Hourglass Fresco, but for me oh so much better!) and now for pics.

To get an idea of the eye makeup, without the lipstick. I may have been stuck in a neutral rut as I had been focusing on a Project 10 Pan (which I have completed).

Products used.

Giorgio Armani Sheer bronzer in #1
